The New Google Nexus 7 Announced, ‘Coming Soon’ to India with Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean)!

The most sought after Android tablet, the Google Nexus 7, just got much more beautiful, fast and handy. The second-generation Google Nexus 7 tablet by Asus was announced at a special event on July 24th along with Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean).

The new-generation tablet boasts the highest resolution HD display, sleek design, fast processor and the latest version of Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. Check out the complete specifications below:

  • Surround sound powered by Fraunhofer
  • 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Processor

Price – The prices are a little above the first-generation Nexus 7, but it’s completely worth the price.

16GB WiFi version – $230 (~Rs. 13,500)
32GB WiFi version – $270 (~Rs. 15,900)
32GB 4G LTE version – $350 (~Rs. 20,600)

Presently, only the WiFi version was announced at the event and will be available for sale from 30th July on the Google Play store. Best Buy and some other few online retailers started the Nexus 7 pre-orders even before the tablet was launched.

The Indian Google Play store, shows the ‘Coming Soon’ tag and is expected to start with the sale of the second-generation tab soon. The first-generation tab was made available after 8 months of its US release, but the ‘Coming Soon’ tags gives us some hopes that the new Google Nexus 7 tablet will be out in India must earlier this time.
