Is this an END to the BBM craze?
The big shots of the mobile computing industry – ‘Apple’ and ‘Microsoft’ are ready with their revolutionary operating systems, which would allow users to send unlimited free messages, documents, photos and make audio/video calls across their smartphone, tablet and PC’s.
To compete with these growing companies, Blackberry has introduced cheaper tariff’s for the users of the leading networks in India – ‘Airtel‘ and ‘Vodafone‘.
The prices have slashed from a heavy 399 Rs/month to 129 Rs/Month, with Airtel providing 300 National SMS’s free with this plan. Under this plan the users will be allowed to use Unlimited Blackberry Messenger(BBM) for a month, but not the Blackberry Internet Services(BIS).
Do you think this will help Blackberry to sustain it’s customers?
