Microsoft officially unveiled Windows 8 at the Taipei Computex 2011 in Taipei (Taiwan) and at the D9 conference in California (United States) on June 1, 2011.
The main attraction is the new user interface. It features a new Metro-style interface that is designed for touchscreen, mouse, keyboard, and pen input. Another useful feature is ‘Windows To Go’, which will allow the users to run Windows 8 from a bootable USB device. Since the release of Windows 95, for the first time Microsoft has replaced the Windows start button by a sliding menu option. Ready for the amazing experience?
