A good presenter always tries to use his skills to keep the audience engaged in his presentation. This is possible only when the presentation goes in a flow and the presenter is fluent throughout.
In certain cases, the presenters forget or miss some important information while elaborating a topic from the presentation. Also, to keep the presentation clear and to the point, all data cannot be added in the slides. In such cases, we can add notes to all the slides in MS PowerPoint, which are useful for revision before the presentation and can also be displayed on the presenter’s screen during the presentation. This is possible in the Use Presenter View mode, where these notes will be displayed on he presenter’s screen while the projector screen will show only the slide show.
If you try to select the “Use Presenter View” option when only one monitor is connected, you will get the following error –
“This feature is for use with more than one monitor, but only one monitor was detected. To see if your computer can display on multiple monitors, click the Check button.”
To Use Presenter View mode on a single monitor screen, just follow these simple steps:
1. Open the “Connect to a Projector” menu or simply press the shortcut keys to open the projector menu.
2. Select the “Extend” option. Your display mode will change to extended projector view.
3. Now open your MS PowerPoint presentation and under the ‘Slide Show’ tab check on “Use Presenter View“.
You can successfully see the presenter view on your monitor screen now.
